Our youth empowerment programs in Delhi focus on skill development for youth by providing free training in stitching, mehandi design, makeup art, and entrepreneurship. As an NGO for youth development and a trusted youth support organization, we help students gain confidence, develop employable skills, and build sustainable livelihoods. Through continuous youth career support, mentorship, and hands-on training, we are helping students transform their talents into meaningful career opportunities and brighter futures.
At Nirmala Foundation, we believe that every young person—especially young women—deserves access to opportunities that help them become financially independent and creatively confident. Through our free training centres in Old Mustafabad, Delhi, we have empowered more than 200 students through vocational training in stitching, mehandi design, and makeup art.
Our youth empowerment programs are designed to provide practical learning experiences that help students develop valuable skills and build a brighter future. As part of our commitment to skill development for youth, every batch consists of 20–30 students who receive personal attention, hands-on training, and a completion certificate upon successfully finishing their course.
Our goal is not only to teach vocational skills but also to inspire young people to pursue self-employment, freelancing opportunities, and small business ventures. Through effective skill development for youth, we help students gain the confidence and knowledge needed to become self-reliant and financially secure.
These youth empowerment programs give students the opportunity to:
- Start home-based services or small businesses
- Earn income through freelancing at weddings and local events
- Build confidence, creativity, and community connections
- Develop entrepreneurial skills and career opportunities
- Dream bigger and work towards a successful future

Why Youth Skill Development Matters
So many young women and girls in Old Mustafabad have dreams, but no one to guide or train them. With no money to pay for classes, they are often stuck doing household chores all day.
Our free centres are changing that—one skill, one certificate, one dream at a time. Through dedicated youth career support, we help students gain practical skills and confidence for a better future.
Still, we face many challenges:
- Not enough machines, kits, and practice materials
- Small space with a growing number of interested students
- Need for more trainers, better equipment, and funding to expand
- Many talented students have to drop out due to lack of support
With stronger community participation and continued youth career support, we can empower more young women to achieve financial independence and long-term success.
How You Can Support Youth Empowerment
You can be part of their journey—from a beginner to a professional. Here’s how:
- Donate to help us buy sewing machines, mehandi cones, makeup kits, and rent space
- Volunteer as a trainer if you know stitching, beauty, or mehandi
- Sponsor a new training centre in your area—we’ll guide and run it fully
- Spread the word and share this page with people who believe in women-led progress
As a dedicated youth support organization, Nirmala Foundation works to create opportunities that help young women learn, grow, and achieve financial independence.
A needle, a cone, a brush—they may look small, but in the right hands, they can build futures.
