The earth is our shared home—and we must protect it together. At Nirmala Foundation, our environment campaigns are driven by the urgent need to act against climate change, pollution, and environmental ignorance. Through rallies, summits, and plantation drives, we are spreading awareness and building public responsibility.
Our goal is not just to talk about change, but to act, educate others, and involve communities—especially youth and students—in protecting our planet.
Here are the recent campaigns that reflect our commitment to a sustainable future:
Climate Change Summit 2024 – Bapu Sabhagar, ITO
Held at Bapu Sabhagar in ITO, this summit brought together activists, students, experts, and community members under one roof. The focus was on climate policy, public participation, and everyday practices to reduce carbon impact.

- Student-led presentations on sustainable living
- Open Q&A with environmental leaders and city planners
- Youth pledge to follow eco-friendly practices
- Distribution of seed kits and plantable items
It was not just an event—it was the start of a local green movement.

The message was clear: our climate is changing, and so must we.

Tree Plantation Drive – 2024
We carried out a mass plantation drive with schoolchildren, local residents, and volunteers in Delhi NCR. The goal was simple—more trees, cleaner air, healthier lives.

- Over 500 saplings planted in local parks, schools, and roadsides
- Involvement of children, senior citizens, and shopkeepers
- Awareness talk on native species and tree care
- Saplings included Neem, Jamun, Peepal, and Tulsi
- Follow-up program to ensure saplings are maintained
Every sapling is now a growing symbol of our promise to the earth.

Vishwa Sarkar & Climate Summit 2025 – Jantar Mantar
At the iconic Jantar Mantar, we joined hands with other eco-conscious groups for the Vishwa Sarkar Summit—a collective cry for climate action at the national and international level.
Key Highlights:
- March and slogan campaign from Connaught Place to Jantar Mantar
- Street plays and spoken word performances on climate crisis
- Message wall where people wrote their hopes for a better planet
- Dialogue on climate justice, equity, and youth action
- Special panel on India’s role in global environmental leadership
When people stand united for the planet, their voice becomes unshakable.

Why Environmental Action Can’t Wait
Every campaign we do reminds us that the planet won’t heal itself. Trees are still being cut. Air is still dirty. Rivers are still shrinking.
But there’s still hope—if we all act now.
Here’s what we need to keep doing this work:
- More saplings, awareness kits, and campaign materials
- Volunteers to reach schools, homes, and local groups
- Funding for posters, travel, and logistics
- A growing community of climate warriors who care

We have a goal of planting several trees that will be cultivated and maintained regularly by the rural as well as urban areas. Not only this but our volunteers are continuously indulged in motivating and encouraging people to adopt trees and take care of them just like their children.
