Free Education for Underprivileged Children
Because every child deserves the right to learn, dream, and thrive.
Why Child Education Matters in India
Every year, millions of children in India drop out of school—especially in slums and rural villages. The reasons vary: poverty, early responsibilities, lack of awareness, or simply no access to schools.
But the result is always the same: a lost future.
At Nirmala Foundation, we believe education is not a privilege, but a basic right. As a trusted NGO for child education, we’re committed to providing free, quality learning opportunities for underprivileged children across Delhi, Bihar, and beyond.
We’re not just teaching—we’re transforming lives.
Our Free Education Model
We run free learning centres in underserved areas where children:
- Receive basic education in Hindi, English, and Maths
- Learn through activity-based methods
- Are mentored by trained educators and volunteers
- Get school supplies, uniforms, bags, and nutritious meals
- Enjoy a safe, nurturing environment that builds confidence
Whether a child is 6 or 13, we welcome all—especially those who’ve dropped out or never enrolled in school.

Meet Our Children
Riya, Age 10 – Dhaka Centre (Bihar)
When the pandemic struck, Riya’s world shattered. Her father, the sole breadwinner, passed away due to COVID-19. Her mother, unskilled and grief-stricken, struggled just to feed the family. School became a distant memory.
When our field volunteers found Riya, she was shy and withdrawn. She hadn’t held a pencil in months. We enrolled her in our Dhaka learning centre, provided free books, a school bag, and emotional support. Slowly, she started smiling again.
“I love reading poems now. I want to become a teacher, just like Didi.” – Riya
Today, she confidently reads Hindi paragraphs, participates in class activities, and dreams of teaching other children like her.
Anas, Age 12 – Basarpur Centre (Bihar)
Anas was just 10 when he started working at a local tea stall in Basarpur to support his ailing parents. He had dropped out of school two years earlier. His hands poured chai, but his eyes watched children with school bags.
Our field coordinator, Amit, noticed him during an awareness walk. He spoke to Anas and his family. Within days, Anas joined our free education program.
We gave him books, shoes, and access to daily learning support. He quickly caught up with Grade 4 curriculum and showed excellent skills in Mathematics.
“Main bada hoke officer banunga… mummy ko hospital nahi jaana padega.” – Anas
He now tops his class, helps other kids, and says he wants to open a school someday.
Priya & Manju – Siblings from Delhi Slums
Priya (8) and Manju (11) used to roam the streets of North Delhi with their mother, collecting plastic to sell. Education was not even a thought. They were malnourished and often fell sick.
Today, they attend our evening tuition centre. They are both in school now. Priya dreams of becoming a nurse. Manju loves science and wants to be a lab technician.
One small donation. Two transformed futures.
